Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year (Six Semester)
program after the graduation. This course has been designed to cope with the
ever-increasing demand for computer personnel in almost all occupations,
especially in the IT sector.
MCA course is the most popular choice of Indian students who
are looking for a bright career in the IT sector. This course can be joined
after completion of BCA course. Many students also join that course because BCA
does not offer as many career options as MCA course offers.
MCA course gives only a fundamental knowledge of computer
languages, which is not sufficient for getting a wonderful job in IT sector.
Besides this, it does not give optimized environment which MCA offers.
Therefore, MCA course has its own significance.

Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate should have passed BCA or Graduate in any
discipline from a recognized university. The selection will be based on as per
the university norms.
Admission Procedure:
Admission to Master of Computer Application Course shall be
open to the candidates who have passed the Bachelor Degree examinations, with
not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate of all years of the degree
examinations with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer
Programming or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business
Statistics as one of the optional or electives.
