Course Description:

MCA course is an interdisciplinary 3-year PG course. The course is designed to develop high quality IT professionals to meet the ever changing industry challenges and requirements.

MCA is a Post Graduation program having six semesters. The syllabus of first semester is framed with the subjects that provide a base for the rest of the semesters in an effective way to impart skills and knowledge about the subjects. In second and third semesters, core Computer Science subjects are introduced with programming practical labs.

MCA course involves the study of system management and development system engineering application software internet management information systems software development troubleshooting hardware technology networking etc.

Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering, Department of MCA was established in the Academic Year 2002-2003 with an objective to provide quality technical education and excellence in the ever expanding horizon of technical education of the21st century to all the aspiring students.

Career Path:

The M.C.A program is a mix of computer-related and general business management courses. The computer related courses use microcomputers to introduce standard techniques of programming; the use of software packages including Databases; System Analysis and Designing; Expert system, Artificial Intelligence. The general business management courses include the functional areas of management like Accounting, Project Management. The course would emphasis the study and creation of business applications.

Candidates must possess a bachelors degree from a recognized university (appearing candidates are also eligible).
Candidate should have secured minimum 50% aggregate in graduation (45% in case of reserved category)
Candidate must have Mathematics/ statistics or Business Mathematics in 10+2 or any one year of graduation
Candidate must have valid MH-MCA-CET or Association CET score

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

Admission Process is centralized conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). Students may also apply to the institute directly for the institute level seats.
The candidate should have passed Bachelor degree or equivalent from any recognized university. Selection will be based as per the university norms.
