ASMA Institute of Management (ASMA), Pune was founded in the year 2007. The institute is started by P.S.D. Shastri Education Foundation (P.S.D.S.E.F.).

Master of Computer Applications (MCA):

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a three-year (Six Semester) program after the graduation. This course has been designed to cope with the ever-increasing demand for computer personnel in almost all occupations, especially in the IT sector.

MCA course is the most popular choice of Indian students who are looking for a bright career in the IT sector. This course can be joined after completion of BCA course. Many students also join that course because BCA does not offer as many career options as MCA course offers.

MCA course gives only a fundamental knowledge of computer languages, which is not sufficient for getting a wonderful job in IT sector. Besides this, it does not give optimized environment which MCA offers. Therefore, MCA course has its own significance.

The Mission of the college is 'to make a Qualitative Contribution towards Human Resource Development in Business and Industry, Information Technology (IT) and Management Science.' The college offers post graduate (PG) courses in MCA and MBA under the faculty of management.
