A journey of thousand miles, begins with a single step. The People’s Education Society and Trust’s journey started in 1967, with the establishment of A.M.Shaikh Homeopathic Medical College at Belgaum by the late Dr. A.M.Shaikh. PES & T’s main objective is to provide ‘Quality Education’ in professional courses to our youth. It is a matter of great pride that the trust now boasts of 7 institutions which provide educational opportunities to students ranging from Nursery to Post graduate level in a variety of streams ranging from medicines to Management.
Belgaum Institute of Management Studies was established in the year 2004 with the objective of providing quality education to deserving students. Powered by the dynamic leadership of its Chairman and Managing Trustee, Mr. Abu Shaikh, the institute today has cherished ideals of economic development. We are an institute with a difference where emphasis is laid on imbibing in our students various managerial abilities, soft skills along with management competencies. The Institute is recognized by Govt. of Karnataka and Approved by AICTE New Delhi. It offers two years full time MBA Programme with Marketing, HR and Finance specializations, affiliated to Karnataka University Dharwad. Our sprawling campus is situated on NH-4. It is located on a hillock spread over 20 acres of land in a serene environment. BIMS (MBA) is surrounded by premiere educational institutions. Its is stimulating to learn, spread and assimilate knowledge in this salubrious ambience.
