Course Description:
MCA course is an interdisciplinary 3-year PG course. The
course is designed to develop high quality IT professionals to meet the ever
changing industry challenges and requirements.
MCA is a Post Graduation program having six semesters. The
syllabus of first semester is framed with the subjects that provide a base for
the rest of the semesters in an effective way to impart skills and knowledge
about the subjects. In second and third semesters, core Computer Science
subjects are introduced with programming practical labs.
MCA course involves the study of system management and
development system engineering application software internet management
information systems software development troubleshooting hardware technology
networking etc.
MCA Department:
NHCE offers Master of Computer Applications (MCA). It’s a
three years degree program.

Eligibility Criteria:
The applicant should have passed three years recognized
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in
aggregate with Mathematics at 10+2 level. In case of candidates belonging to SC
/ ST / other backward classes, the minimum marks for the purpose of eligibility
will be 45% of marks in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Candidate must
have studied Mathematics either in 12th/ 2nd PUC level or in Degree as
compulsory subject.
Admission Criteria:
Pass in 3 years Degree with 50% aggregate in any Discipline,
should be recognised by VTU, 45% - for SC or ST Candidates from Karnataka.
Admission will be based on a Technical Aptitude Test and selection procedure
conducted by VTU.
